“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1) This is the description of the creation after the destruction when the giant beast roamed the earth [dinosaurs]. God the Father delegated to His Son the responsibility of recreation.
Jesus confirms that process in John 1:1-3:
1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.
2) The same was in the beginning WITH God.
3) All things were made BY Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.”
God the Father turned the recreation process over to Jesus, His Son. He had created a primitive world of dinosaurs! Asteroids and comets plunged that world into utter chaos, killing everything that lived. But there are others forms of “beginning.”
“The FEAR [respect] of the Lord is the BEGINNING of WISDOM: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endures forever (Psalm 111:10). The beginning of all wisdom that leads to understanding is keeping God’s commandments.
“The FEAR [respect] of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the KNOWLEDGE of the holy IS understanding” (Proverb 9:10).
“The FEAR [respect] of the Lord is the BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE: but fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7). Notice there is a beginning of knowledge!!! This is in addition to the actual recreation and the beginning of wisdom which gives a good understanding to all that keep His commandments.
“And He said unto me, It is done. I [Jesus] am Alpha and Omega, the BEGINNING and the END. I will give unto him that is athirst [spiritually] of the fountain of the water of life freely (Revelation 21:6).
Jesus was the Word WITH God the Father “in the beginning.” He created everything that exists today. He took the ruins of the old dinosaur world and recreated the world of Noah’s time.
After time went by and the flood destroyed that world of “fallen angels and their giant offspring,” Jesus started all over with Abraham. Abraham was faithful to God, as were Isaac and Jacob. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. This was also a new “beginning” in God’s plan of salvation for the world. As individual men and women obeyed God in this new “beginning,” God was pleased. However, as the population grew, sin began to come in more increasingly. God choose from the families of the earth Israel. Even though Israel was the smallest of the earth, God choose them to become the greatest people in the earth.
He made promises to them that are being fulfilled until this day. They were to become a commonwealth of nations and the greatest single nation on earth in the last days (Genesis 48-49:1; 22-26)!!! They were called the “Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.” We are living in those times – the LAST DAYS!!!
God had the beginning of the world as we know it, created by His Son [Colossians 1:12-18]. He also had the “fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and a good understanding have all they that do His commandments. He also is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega [Jesus]. Jesus is the beginning of creation and will complete the salvation process.
