Your fervent prayer will change things for the better! Many situations have been altered, lives changed, hearts moved, by spending time in passionate prayer. Why is this? It is because God answers Prayer! God performs miracles! He is real and the promises of Blessings and answered Prayers is a Glorious reality! Our Heavenly Father does answer Prayer! (Jeremiah 33:3) Time spent in Fervent Passionate Prayer can change your attitude and give you a new perspective and outlook on life.
A believer gets a totally new outlook on life when he spends time in God’s Presence! His priorities change as well as his desires and goals in life. His heart becomes more compassionate and thoughts become kinder, caring, and sensitive to the needs of others.
The famous hymn perfectly describes the blessings and benefits gained from special quiet times of fervent prayer in God’s presence.
That calls me from a world of care
And sets me at my Father’s Throne,
Makes all my wants and wished known.
In seasons of distress and grief
My soul has often found relief.
And oft escaped the tempters snare,
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer.”
Prayer is the life breath of a person’s soul, and his spiritual walk with the Father. Your prayer life is the spiritual thermometer that determines the temperature of your heart and soul. Whether lukewarm or passionate and on fire for the Lord! How many followers of Christ knock on the door to the throne room of God in Fervent Prayer – as if they hungered and thirsted? How many wrestle and strive earnestly for an answer and never give up! The prayer life that Jesus desires for His Followers is filled with Passion! It is the example He displayed every day of His life. There was a Plan, there was a Passion, and there was a Purpose and Persistence. He continued in Prayer, He watched unto Prayer, He prayed always without ceasing and never gave up! He expects you and me to endeavor to follow in His steps.
Jesus prayed with Passion. (Hebrews 5:7-8) During the days of Jesus’ life on earth He offered up prayers and petitions with Passion, loud cries, and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because He feared or because of His reverent submission. Although He was a son, He learned obedience from what He suffered!
Take some time to meditate on the following poem about the promises and power of prayer:
But this I know God answers Prayer.
I know that He has given His Word,
Which tells me Prayer is always heard.
And will be answered soon or late,
And so I Pray and calmly wait.
I know not if the Blessings sought,
Will come in just the way I thought.
But leave my Prayer with Him alone,
Whose will is wiser than my own.
Assured that He will grant my quest,
Or send some answers far more Blest.
I have been praying to God for sometime about Psalm 105:37, that tells us about ancient Israel when they came out of Egypt; “there was not one feeble person among their tribes.” I believe God placed this verse in the Bible mostly for the end time people-spiritual Israel. It just seems to fit so well, ancient Israel and the very last of Israel in this age, as we come out of our Egypt!
I truly believe God wants to heal all the Saints at the end time. But He expects us to ask Him for our healings. If we all pray to God that we be completely healed, and keep praying that at least until the tribulation starts, God will see we are serious about this!
Maybe God placed Psalm 105:37 in the Bible as a test to see if any group will ask Him for another Psalm 105:37 be given to them. Let us make that group be, this church. It will not take much time to add this to our daily prayer!
When I pray my Psalm 105:37 prayer, I usually say something like this. “Heavenly Father, I ask that you will please bring Psalm 105:37 forward to this end time and do unto this generation what you did unto ancient Israel, as you brought them out of Egypt.”
